About The Position

With panoramic views of the signature Gary Player Course and the western shore of Lake Como, Geneva National’s rustic Hunt Club Steakhouse draws loyal diners year-round with its choice cuts, winning wine list and clubby ambience within the 100-year-old Crane Manor. Honored for 14 consecutive years by Wine Spectator and the recipient of multiple awards from TripAdvisor, Open Table and Thrillist, this chic southeast Wisconsin steakhouse delivers a passion for excellence with every dish and drink. Here is your opportunity to join our fine dining team as a member of our professional front-of-house serving staff. Primary responsibilities include communicating with enthusiasm a deep knowledge of the Hunt Club’s inspired food and drink menus and executing genuine service with etiquette and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Know the Hunt Club’s food and drink menus inside and out – down to ingredients and origins.
  • Capture guests’ attention with the Hunt Club story – from its history as a Hunt Club to the details of our scratch kitchen.
  • Engage with guests and artfully recommend wines that pair well with dishes and individual palates.
  • Provide immediate attention to guests once seated. Take and enter orders, deliver all drinks and courses at the appropriate times to ensure correct temperatures, and process payments.
  • Take pride in our property. Perform set-up, cleaning and closing tasks as part of the restaurant’s core team.
  • Value timely communication by keeping the Restaurant Manager apprised of special requests, special occasions or complaints and taking ownership to ensure that that all are addressed with care.
  • Uphold high sanitation and safety standards.
