About The Position

Draper is an independent, nonprofit research and development company headquartered in Cambridge, MA, with over 2,000 employees. The human systems and visualization group works at the confluence of humans and technology in support of mission critical systems. They support the design, development, testing, and evaluation approaches that account for both human and technology components, and their integration through analysis, experimentation, and modeling of human performance. The team supports the development of user-facing and human-in-the-loop simulations and visualizations for core technologies, providing state-of-the-art data analytics and data visualizations to support decision-making. This includes the development of powerful and intuitive interfaces that bring the best performance out of the human and the machine, including enhanced visualizations for large-scale and high-fidelity applications. The human systems and visualization group is seeking an intern to develop front-end interfaces for advanced Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) tools, and support user-facing visualizations for key performance metrics. The intern will also design, develop, and enhance engineering solutions for challenging problems, implement, test, perform analysis, and provide documentation support.
