About The Position

This position works as a technology liaison between the county and stakeholders and NCFAST/NCTRACKS. The person in this position will complete troubleshooting of service tickets, work with the 100 counties and Eastern Band of Cherokee Tribe to ensure policy is translated correctly in the eligibility systems, and work closely with the Managed Care entities, Tailored Plan, and Children and Family Specialty Plan to ensure enrollment and eligibility adheres to policy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Deep expertise in Medicaid policies, operations, and supporting data capabilities.
  • Broad knowledge of healthcare strategy, technology, regulatory requirements, and IT applications.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with business areas and align IT services to organizational needs.
  • Skilled communicator with strengths in negotiation, conflict resolution, and maintaining professional conduct.
  • Able to work independently, follow complex technical procedures, and understand how decisions impact organizational goals.
