About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide professional level program support services to the Human Services Counseling program.

Requirements

• Associates degree and three (3) years of clerical experience working in an office environment, preferably a business which is customer service oriented. Or a Bachelor's degree and one year of identical experience.
• Experienced user of all Microsoft Office applications required
• Must be able to work occasional evening and weekend hours.

Nice To Haves

• proficient with desktop publishing software preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide information on the Human Services Counseling programs to current and prospective students, employers, external stakeholders, and the college community in person and on the telephone.
• Assist with special projects, meetings and/or special events.
• Create promotional materials, newsletters and fliers for various faculty/professional development activities.
• Serve as liaison between the Human Services Counseling program and other offices or organizations.
• Research, analyze and process data into college systems.
• Seek out and develop relationships with employers to understand local workforce needs to develop programming and place students in a variety of employment settings.
• Manage assigned components of Apprenticeship Sponsorships with existing and potential Apprenticeship employer partners and training customers.
• Create and maintain records and files for the Human Services Counseling programs.
• Compile reports, documents, forms and correspondence.
