About The Position

The Human Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families within the community. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing various social service needs, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated and utilized. The coordinator will collaborate with local agencies, stakeholders, and community members to identify gaps in services and create strategic initiatives to fill those gaps. Ultimately, this role is crucial in promoting social welfare and improving community well-being. This role will supervise anywhere from 20-30 staff.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a human services or social work role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for building relationships with members and community partners.
  • Organizational skills are crucial for managing multiple programs and ensuring that all aspects of service delivery are executed efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills will be utilized daily to address challenges that arise in service provision and to develop innovative solutions.
  • Additionally, knowledge of community resources and social service systems will enhance the coordinator's ability to connect clients with appropriate support.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field.
  • Experience in program development and evaluation.
