Human Service Worker at South Provo Clinic - Part Time
About The Position
Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker, earning $16.49–$20.90/hour . In this onsite role at our South Provo Clinic, you'll work alongside a compassionate team committed to supporting individuals experiencing severe mental illness and other behavioral health challenges. You'll play an important part in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can access the care and resources they need to thrive. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
- Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
Nice To Haves
- Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 15-passenger van for client transportation
- Provide compassionate support, supervision, and positive engagement to participants
- Facilitate structured activities, life-skills groups, and daily program routines
- Assist with crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
- Accurately document interactions, observations, and client progress
- Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and multidisciplinary team members
- Model healthy coping skills, pro-social behavior, and supportive communication
