About The Position

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker (Behavioral Technician) with our Attachment IOP Program located in Provo, Utah, earning $16.49–$20.90/hour . In this role, you'll help provide a high-quality afterschool program for adolescents experiencing mental health disorders, behavioral challenges, and delays in social and daily living skills. Programming is tailored to the needs of each group and focuses on building skills such as anger and stress management, emotional coping, problem-solving, social interaction, and positive peer relationships. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
• Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards

Nice To Haves

• Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants
• Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines
• Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment
• Document client interactions, progress, and observations accurately
• Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and other team members
• Model positive behavior and healthy coping strategies
