About The Position

Exceptional opportunity for a Human Resource Specialist on a state-of-art construction project. In this role, you will leverage your HR expertise to champion our company culture, manage various HR processes, and serve as a trusted advisor to staff and management. You will play a key role in ensuring positive employee relations among all team members and fostering a productive work environment. You will work on a project based in Saline , Michigan. Occasional travel to our Headquarters in downtown Detroit as needed.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field, and a 3-5 years of HR experience.
• Proven expertise in a specific HR specialty area (e.g., recruitment, team member relations, benefits administration).
• Proficiency in HR information systems, databases, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint), and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discretion.
• Excellent time management, organization skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advance Walbridge culture of inclusion initiative and promote strong working relationships.
• Provide guidance and maintain compliance with EEO, labor classifications, and OFCCP requirements.
• Partner with on-site project supervisors, facilitate the Talent Acquisition process, and support the corporate HR team.
• Provide oversight of new team member programs, health & wellness initiatives, training, labor postings and signage, and substance abuse testing process.
• Lead investigations and resolve team member relations matters promptly and effectively.
