About The Position

The Human Resources Specialist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) departmentincluding enforcing company policies and practices.

Requirements

  • High School graduate, or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of human resource management experience preferred.

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

  • Associate degree related to Business Administration or Human Resources is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and consolidate employee files/reports needed for manpower planning and business continueinitiatives.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but notlimited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations;performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health andsafety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complexand/or sensitive matters to the appropriate department or manager.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare periodic management reports related to human resources and other reports that may be requiredby management.
  • Perform other assignments from time to time as directed by management.
  • Perform administrative duties as necessary i.e., making copies, filing, etc.
  • Gather and consolidates performance review ratings of assigned business operational units.
  • Maintain employee records.
