The Job: As a Human Resources Specialist, you’ll be part of our Mission team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to: Processes Payroll, tracks time and attendance and manages benefits documentation. Coordinates employee engagement activities and events. Supports recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and handling pre-employment paperwork and screenings. Coordinates new hire orientation, processes new hire paperwork and manages employee onboarding and termination procedures. Maintains accurate digital and physical employee records, updates HRIS databases and processes employee status changes. Responds to employee inquiries, assists with basic grievance management and directs staff to appropriate HR resources Prepares reports and HR metrics to support human resource functions. Acts as an HR communication liaison by preparing and distributing company announcements; ensures all communication boards and digital displays are updated regularly Provides basic HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees Assists with off-shift HR communication needs by working additional hours as required. You also have: 2+ years of HR support experience, including payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment support. Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field preferred. Proficient with HRIS systems and software such as Workday, UKG and ADP, strongly desired Basic knowledge of employment labor laws. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR support experience, including payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment support.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently
