About The Position

Ho'olaulima Government Solutions LLC (HGS) is a Small Business Administration-certified, Native Hawaiian Organization-Owned, 8(a) Small Business that provides services and solutions in the areas of Environmental Services, Information Technology Services, Healthcare Services and Professional and Technical Services to the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies. Duties and Responsibilities: The contractor shall provide HR support services in accordance with Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Department of Navy (DON) Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) & NAVFAC rules, regulations, and procedures to include: Provide written position classification advisory support using Office of Personnel Management (OPM) position classification and job grading standards for Government approval. Update, consolidate and/or standardize existing Position Descriptions (PDs) and develop new PDs for Government approval. Generate, analyze sort and distribute electronic HR reports Provide timely, appropriate and professional response to hiring managers and civilian personnel via email, telephone and Microsoft teams.

Requirements

  • Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing .
  • Be a United States (U.S.) citizen
  • Complete the SF-85-P, Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions and be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance, which is required to access Government computer networks.
  • Comply with OPM, OCHR, & NAVFAC rules, regulations, and procedures to develop Federal PDs, and perform staffing and classification services.
  • Initial Site Visit (within 2 weeks of Onboarding); Meeting with staff to discuss processes, data storage request, priorities, etc.
  • Be able to pass background check and Government completion of applicable Security Questions (e.g., CAC Card, Privileged or IT Level Access and SAAR form processing).
  • Work 100% remotely from Hawaii or US Mainland.
  • Work HST time zone.
