About The Position

The Human Resources Specialist – Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, with a primary focus on sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent to meet organizational needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, develop effective recruiting strategies, and ensure positive candidate experience. While the primary emphasis is on recruiting, the specialist may occasionally assist with general HR functions such as onboarding, and offboarding, support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR-related role
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and hiring best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Paycom)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with online job boards (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor)
  • Basic knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Data tracking and reporting related to recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, etc.)
  • Familiarity with virtual interview tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Draft and post job advertisements across various platforms (job boards, social media, company website)
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and pre-screening interviews
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Present qualified candidates to hire managers with detailed summaries and recommendations
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience
  • Draft, extend, and negotiate job offers with selected candidates
  • Track and manage candidate pipelines using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company hiring policies
  • Maintain accurate and organized recruitment records and reports
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and other HR functions on an as-needed basis
