About The Position

This position will report to the Plant Human Resources Manager and will provide HR service, advice and counsel to the plant’s management and employee team in the acquisition, development, deployment, and retention of their respective organization’s human resources while remaining strategically aligned with the business’ strategy, goals, and objectives. #zr   Counsel management team and employees on employee relations issues Supports plant management in business plan in accordance with company and departmental values by developing and recommending solutions regarding HR-related issues. Recruits and interviews permanent and temporary candidates Investigate employee complaints. Recommend separations and approve all disciplinary action. Conducts training regarding compliance issues, skills development, etc. Coordinates and implements Safety programs. Supports the development of local wage scales by collecting data and preparing recommendations in accordance with Compensation policies. Supports and administers AAP plans and other HR programs. Stays informed of industry and business trends, to maximize efficiencies and continuously learn and improve our business. Maintains and inputs all employee information on SAP / Success Factors. Assists employees with benefits, processes enrollment forms, and conducts open enrollment. Serves as a backup for payroll processing. Conducts audits to monitor the HR Department transactions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with 0-3 years of applicable human resources experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish required.
  • Experience in human resources generalist roles gained within consumer food production or related environments, with a proven track record in providing effective and efficient delivery of human resources services and products.
  • Strong customer focus approach to providing HR services and products to employees.
  • Maturity, self-confidence, integrity, and strong communication skills will be critical to this role.
  • Effective planning and organizing skills and abilities will be critical in ensuring compliance, managing multiple tasks, and servicing employees.
  • Strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR certification preferred.
  • SAP Success Factors & ADP knowledge preferred.
