About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Manager to support daily human resources operations and ensure efficient payroll processing. This role requires hands-on experience with payroll systems, particularly Paychex, and the ability to manage day-to-day HR functions while supporting organizational goals and compliance. This is a fully onsite position based in Irvine, CA.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3–5 years of HR experience, with a focus on payroll processing
Hands-on experience with Paychex or similar payroll systems
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Nice To Haves

Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

Process and manage payroll accurately and on schedule using Paychex
Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Oversee disciplinary measures and terminations
Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive work environment
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
Administer employee benefits and assist with benefits enrollment and inquiries
Track attendance, leaves, and employee performance records
Prepare HR reports and assist with audits as needed
Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
