Requirements

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with employees at all levels, handling confidential information, and articulating policies clearly.
  • Organizational Skills: HR interns must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR management software are important for data entry, report generation, and document management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with HR professionals and other departments is essential.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: HR interns should be able to identify issues and provide effective solutions, particularly in administrative tasks.
  • Must be enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college program.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to professional employees working in an organizational function related to the intern's area of study.
  • Learns organizational processes and procedures.
  • Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records.
  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Can support Technical or Non-Technical fields or programs.
  • Must be enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college program.
