About The Position

As the Human Resources Manager, you'll be the go-to partner for our Facility Manager, local leadership, and employees. You'll oversee all aspects of HR--from payroll and benefits to recruiting, employee relations, and compliance--while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree in business or human resources.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills--verbal and written.
  • High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work off-shifts and attend employee meetings and events.
  • Experience in payroll, employee relations, recruiting, and compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to travel for meetings and training (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to facility leadership and staff.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain confidential employee records.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and benefit enrollment.
  • Coach managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
  • Plan and coordinate employee events, meetings, and recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and act as liaison between employees, providers, and insurers.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Supervise HR team members including the Receptionist/AP Clerk and HR Assistant.
  • Support succession planning and staffing strategies.
  • Create and maintain HR reports and documentation for leadership and corporate teams.
