About The Position

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for supervising the members of the HR department, such as the HR specialists and support staff, to coordinate and execute the company's personnel functions, including recruiting, hiring, compensation and benefits, training, and compliance with labor laws. They oversee the department's daily workflows, provide performance reviews, and handle employee relations and disciplinary actions. In addition, they help develop HR policies, support workforce planning, and serve as a liaison between employees and leadership. Work is very broad in scope and requires a high level of professionalism.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Requires 5+ years of progressive and professional HR experience, and supervising staff

Nice To Haves

  • Management within a multi-site environment strongly preferred
  • Management within a hybrid work environment strongly preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification desired

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise HR specialists and support staff.
  • Direct and coordinate the daily workflow within the HR department to ensure tasks like payroll, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance are completed accurately and on time.
  • Supervise the entire hiring process, from writing job descriptions to interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Guide workforce planning to meet both current and future business needs and lead the position requisition committee.
  • Administer, coordinate, and help design employee benefit programs and compensation structures.
  • Oversee and resolve disputes among employees and handle disciplinary actions or terminations in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee performance appraisals and feedback to drive high performance.
  • Supervises aspects of employee training and development programs to ensure staff skills are applied effectively and to help employees advance their careers
  • Ensure that the company and its managers follow employment laws, safety regulations, and overall employee relations to maintain fairness and stability.
  • Act as a bridge between employee, management, and external stakeholders.
