About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage onsite HR operations for a highly skilled, professional organization with ten locations throughout Florida. This position is based onsite in Tallahassee and serves as a key strategic partner to leadership in fostering a compliant, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture across all locations. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies and initiatives that align with the organization’s overall business objectives. This role encompasses, but is not limited to, talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring consistent compliance with applicable federal and Florida employment laws across a multi-location environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in human resources leadership, experience supporting professional-level employees in a multi-site organization, and a high level of judgment, discretion, and professionalism. A demonstrated ability to build trust, provide sound guidance to leadership, and enhance organizational effectiveness is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field; complemented by a minimum of five (5) years of professional HR experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in a managerial role.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, or equivalent, within a year of employment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations specific to onsite operational environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and experience in human resources management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong HR experience in HRM will be considered inliu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain human resources policies and procedures that promote a compliant, professional, and positive workplace.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and training programs to ensure effective integration into the organization’s culture and operational standards.
  • Lead performance management processes, including performance evaluations, goal setting, and ongoing feedback mechanisms.
  • Address and resolve employee relations matters and workplace concerns in accordance with company policies and applicable law.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and Florida labor and employment laws, and proactively monitor regulatory changes that may impact HR practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and processes.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to leadership and management on HR-related issues, employee matters, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ADP and similar Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) platforms.
  • Ability to effectively manage, analyze, and leverage HRIS data to support payroll coordination, reporting, compliance, and informed decision-making.
