The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the HR function for three sites within our Diagnostics manufacturing organization. Two sites in KY and one in Miami (Hialeah). This position reports to the Director, HR North American Operations and is part of a team of North American HR professionals. The position will be an on-site role in either Hebron KY, or Hialeah, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Coach and develop leaders through key people related topics, including Workforce Planning, Engagement, Inclusion, Talent Management & Development initiatives. Collaborate with COE’s in Employee Relations, Compensation, Talent Management, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and Inclusion teams, leveraging their expertise to build and implement people strategies for client groups. Leverage metrics and KPIs, using established tools and creative data analytics to drive and sustain actionable change. Support Beckman Coulter as an Employer of Choice in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience
  • A Human Resources background spanning all aspects of the discipline, including employee relations, compensation, talent management, coaching/consulting with leaders, learning and recruiting.
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in an organization where HR is transforming to a shared service model enabling HRBP’s to drive more strategy for the business.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS.
  • Ability to travel 15-20% travel, day trips and some overnight, within Florida / Kentucky area
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10lbs, any other physical requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a regulated (FDA, DCAA) industry
  • Certifications in HR and/or LEAN / Six Sigma / Continuous improvement
