About The Position

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead People Operations, employee relations, compliance, and talent strategy. This role oversees HR staff, partners with leadership, and ensures all HR processes align with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • MediClear credential or equivalent HIPAA compliance certification (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • HR management experience, including direct supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of EEO, ADA, FMLA, and general employment law
  • Experience in change management and supporting leaders through complex HR challenges
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using CRM, HRIS, or other HR technology platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build trust across all levels of an organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management
  • Implement HR and talent strategies to support workforce planning, retention, and succession
  • Guide and support HR staff and managers regarding complex personnel matters, investigations, accommodations, FMLA, and terminations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Act as liaison with insurance brokers and external benefit vendors (healthcare, disability, and retirement)
  • Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Support performance review processes and provide ongoing coaching to leadership
  • Manage legal inquiries and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external HR-related legal matters
  • Track legal issues and deliver monthly updates to leadership
  • Develop and implement employee learning, development, and training programs
  • Partner with leadership on culture, organizational development, and change management initiatives
  • Lead special HR projects as needed
