About The Position

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing daily HR operations and overseeing all aspects of human resources for assigned location(s). This role partners closely with leadership to support business objectives and provides guidance across the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, workforce planning, performance management, training, compensation, and talent development. The HR Manager also leads continuous improvement initiatives and administers collective bargaining agreements where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to lead, empower, and develop employees
  • Ability to achieve results through collaboration and influence
  • Excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels and backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to deliver HR services aligned with organizational goals and operational needs
  • Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations, labor relations, and other people-related matters
  • Administer and interpret collective bargaining agreements for applicable workforce groups
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver training related to HR compliance, leadership development, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Collaborate with HR team members and hiring leaders to plan and execute new employee orientation programs
  • Represent management in labor relations meetings, contract negotiations, hearings, audits, and investigations
  • Conduct employee investigations, document findings, and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Serve as an active member of site-specific committees and leadership groups
  • Prepare, update, and maintain job descriptions, policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
  • Administer performance management processes, including merit increases
  • Implement and oversee apprenticeship and workforce development programs in partnership with training institutions
  • Develop, analyze, and manage HR budgets; track expenditures and ensure fiscal accountability
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as needed
