About The Position

The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration and daily execution of the human resources and other corporate service functions for the company’s U.S. and U.K. operations. The individual should be comfortable handling a wide variety of day-to-day HR and other administrative functions in a fast-paced environment and must interact well with other staff in a team environment. Full HR generalist responsibilities for multiple offices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in general HR functions management.
  • Working knowledge of automated payroll systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with formal quality assurance programs is desirable.

  • PHR or SPHR accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations (Develop and administer HR policies/procedures to improve company culture and retention.)
  • Recruitment (job descriptions, interviewing, selection and hiring)
  • Training & Development (on-boarding orientation, identify staff development plans, and performance management)
  • Compensation (administer U.S. & U.K. Exempt and Non-Exempt compensation plans and pay policies. Administer bonus plans and payments)
  • Group Benefits (evaluate and administer group insurances, 401K and other benefits)
  • HRIS (Maintain HR Information System, personnel files, I-9s, and H1-B visa information)
  • Supervise the timely and accurate preparation of payroll for U.S. and U.K. employees.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. and U.K. withholding and tax regulations.
  • Supervise garnishments and child support orders.
  • Ensure accurate payroll data entry into accounting system.
  • Support payroll specialist in maintaining payroll systems, including consolidating timesheets, entering data, calculating paychecks, and distributing funds to employee accounts.
  • Maintain Company facility leases.
  • Administration of workers compensation claims management.
  • Lead overall health and safety initiatives.
  • Develop and execute health and safety procedures and policies to support business operations.
  • Maintain all 3rd party compliance (ISNetworld, PEC, Veriforce, etc)
  • Develop customer site specific safety plans in support of field operations.
  • Establish and coordinate employee safety training programs and record keeping.
  • Manage anti-drug and alcohol plans and ensure compliance, ( D.O.T., DISA and customer specific testing plans)
  • Ensure D.O.T. Operator Qualification (OQ) compliance, maintain records and handle OQ customer issues.
  • Overall management of the ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Development of new ISO processes, procedures and work instructions as required.
  • Perform internal audits and prepare audit reports.
  • Coordinate and lead external audit activities.
  • Receive, prepare, and coordinate corrective and preventive action reports.
  • Conduct ISO 9001 management review meetings.
