Human Resources Manager (Recruiter) Key Responsibilities Actively source candidates through social media and professional networks Build and maintain a network of contacts and partnerships to create a strong candidate pool for current and future openings Manage the full recruitment process in alignment with company staffing needs defined by management Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews Develop and execute onboarding programs for new employees Review and update company policies to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FMLA, EEO, health & safety, privacy, etc.) Maintain accurate and compliant employee records Support a positive workplace culture through training, communication, and leadership development Address and resolve employee relations issues; handle investigations when necessary Provide guidance on onboarding, performance management, corrective actions, and employee engagement Administer employee benefits (health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life and disability plans, COBRA, etc.) Coordinate annual benefits renewals and negotiate with brokers and providers Handle communication with federal and state agencies (IRS, DOL, Department of Employment Security, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of HR experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Solution-oriented, flexible, and proactive mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based tools

Nice To Haves

  • Previous logistics or transportation industry experience preferred
