About The Position

The Human Resources Lead serves as a strategic HR partner across three company entities, delivering comprehensive support in talent acquisition, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. This role oversees HR operations across multiple aviation business lines—including maintenance, FBO, and charter—ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company objectives. The HR Lead plays a critical role in fostering a high-performance, safety-driven culture and must be a proactive, self-directed leader who thrives in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in aviation, aerospace, or other regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR analytics/reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence change and drive organizational culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to take ownership of initiatives, work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
  • Working knowledge of FAA, DOT, OSHA, and labor law compliance.
  • Experience with accounting functions, including AP/AR and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for specialized aviation roles (e.g., A&P Technicians, Line Service, Dispatch, and administrative staff).
  • Develop and implement retention strategies and succession planning initiatives across all entities.
  • Partner with leadership to anticipate and meet long-term workforce needs.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, DOT, OSHA, and federal/state labor laws.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for Part 145 Repair Station and Part 135 Charter operations.
  • Monitor and update HR policies to reflect evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll across all departments and entities.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, labor standards, and union agreements where applicable.
  • Manage payroll integrations with HRIS and scheduling systems.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate payroll reports and analytics for leadership review.
  • Promote consistent culture, values, and service standards across all organizations.
  • Address employee concerns, manage conflict resolution, and oversee grievance procedures.
  • Lead engagement and recognition initiatives tailored to diverse aviation teams.
  • Oversee onboarding and training programs across all entities.
  • Ensure role-specific training meets regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Support employee development aligned with company growth and operational goals.
  • Design and maintain competitive, equitable compensation structures.
  • Administer benefits programs and conduct market benchmarking.
  • Perform monthly benefit reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in billing and deductions.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews related to benefits and compensation.
