About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team at McClung-Logan Equipment Company by working closely with the Regional Human Resources Business Partner, employees, and management. This internship provides hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and HR administration. At the conclusion of the internship, the intern will complete and present a capstone project highlighting their work and contributions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
  • Eager to learn and apply new knowledge in a professional setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in: Human Resources Organizational Performance Industrial-Organizational Psychology Industrial and Labor Relations Organizational Behavior Or a related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, and use of hands

Responsibilities

  • Assist with HR compliance initiatives, audits, and special projects
  • Conduct research and analysis related to HR policies, programs, and best practices
  • Partner with Employee Experience to support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and presentations
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, and maintaining HR templates
  • Provide additional support to the HR team as assigned
