About The Position

A 10-12 week HR internship rotational internship supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment/onboarding, employee relations, and benefits. Interns will gain practical experience in areas like maintaining employee records, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with payroll and benefits administration. This role provides valuable exposure to HR processes and procedures, contributing to the overall success of the HR department.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Must be a Junior at time of application.
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assisting with job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and supporting new employee orientation.
  • Employee Records Management: Updating employee information in databases, maintaining personnel files, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing HR-related correspondence.
  • Employee Relations: Assisting with employee engagement activities, communication, and addressing general inquiries.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Assisting with the input of employee data for payroll processing and supporting benefit enrollment and administration.
