We are seeking a full-time temporary Human Resources Intern to join our Team in Houston, TX. This role will commence May 18, 2026 and work with the Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will participate in a variety of meaningful HR projects and activities that support our US and Canadian departments. Candidates should have an awareness of HR best practices and the technical skills to effectively assist with HR communications, content management and documentation. Requirements

  • Interns must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous internship/work experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Comfortable with virtual collaboration and meeting software, including MS Teams
  • Ability to take initiative and the confidence to make suggestions for improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills that support collaboration and productive working relationships
  • Interest in HR professional growth and development
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interns must be able and willing to relocate themselves to Houston for the duration of the work term
  • Interns must be able to commit to a 13-week work term starting May 18, 2026 to be considered for the program
  • Successful candidate must provide satisfactory references, complete a Criminal Background Check, and be in compliance with the Company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy including pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship/work experience in Talent Acquisition, HRIS, OD or Change Management capacity would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility will be to a id and support the recruiting process including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and providing applicant correspondence
  • Support a variety of ad hoc HR project initiatives within one or more of our HR specialist groups including, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and HR Business Partners/Advisory
  • Coordinate activities and events throughout the Summer Internship Program
  • Compile an annual Intern Booklet for our organization
  • Assist with the internship program by partnering with schools and universities across the US
  • Support process improvements for current HR processes and practices
  • Gather and compile data to use analytics that support our objectives
  • Assist in developing HR program/training materials (e.g. course content, user guides, training activities)
  • Assist with HR file management and the migration of HR files to SharePoint
  • Other duties and special projects, as assigned
