About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will handle a variety of entry-level projects and administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Generalists.

Requirements

  • Applicants must:
  • Be enrolled in a full time Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, or
  • Have a declared field of study and enrolled full-time in an Associate’s degree program, or equivalency to full-time enrollment when attending a trade school or certification program; or
  • Have recently graduated with a degree or certification from these programs within the last six months.
  • Applicants should be seeking a degree or certification in business or a related field.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle multiple projects efficiently.
  • Conduct independent research and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the availability and scheduling of interviews and meetings with SupplyCore personnel, utilizing both email and phone communication.
  • Assist in organizing and carrying out training sessions and monthly HR tips.
  • Support and maintain the SharePoint HR and homepage.
  • Provide support in employee relations by facilitating exit interviews and assisting in addressing employee questions, issues, and concerns.
  • Perform data entry tasks as required, including updates to the HRIS, attendance records, and other related information.
  • Assist with facilitating new hire onboarding and employee offboarding processes.
  • Conduct, research and prepare future policy drafts.
  • Participate in all phases of the full-cycle recruitment process, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
  • Compose and distribute departmental correspondence via email.
  • Support the SupplyCore Summer Internship Program and serve on the Events and Recognition Committees; lead and coordinate the Internship Group Project.
  • Contribution in the coordination and execution of the Wellness Summer Challenge, providing support throughout the program.
  • Participate in the assistance of handling payroll administration and processing.
  • Examine, manage, and scan personnel related documents.
  • Assist with the completion and verification of I-9 employment eligibility forms for seasonal new hires.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle multiple projects efficiently.
  • Conduct independent research and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
