About The Position

CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Intern in Phoenix, AZ. This 12-week paid program offers hands-on corporate experience, meaningful exposure to day-to-day HR operations, and valuable preparation for a future career at CopperPoint. This HR internship will provide hands-on talent development experience teaching the basics of HR Management, Recruitment & Selection, and how CopperPoint leverages Learning & Development to help train and upskill our staff. In your role, you will support the HR team by: Assisting with all aspects of full cycle recruiting and onboarding, including but not limited to: resume reviews, candidate screenings, interview coordination, and new employee orientations. Partnering with the Learning & Development team to support new hires and employee initiatives. Developing relationships with business leaders to better understand their staffing needs. Helping the HR Management team to launch and audit compliance trainings. Supporting the team with new and ongoing projects. Some functions may include recruiting, onboarding, engagement, communications, compliance, or talent development. Providing administrative and/or technical support to the HR team on a variety of functions. As our ideal candidate, you are: A current college undergraduate who is a resident of Arizona and/or is attending a school in Arizona. Proficient in Microsoft® Office tools and related software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with data and analyzing sensitive information. Good Interpersonal skills to quickly develop trust, credibility, and respect from all levels of staff. Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry post-graduation. Internship Details Program Dates: May 26, 2026- August 14, 2026 Travel Commitment: CopperPoint is thrilled to host all interns at our Phoenix, AZ office in June and August! This exciting, company-sponsored visit will focus on team building, training, and engagement activities, and conclude with a celebration of intern achievements. Salary: $20 per hour Work Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ - 2 days in office, 3 days remote Time Commitment: 30 hours per week Benefits: The intern will accrue 0.0692 of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour. The intern will be eligible to participate in CopperPoint’s matching 401(k) plan. Requirements
