About The Position

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking an HR Intern to join our team of outstanding Human Resources professionals in North Charleston, SC. This Internship position is required to be on-site at our headquarters in North Charleston, South Carolina. Essential Functions: Support and actively demonstrate adherence to the Core Competencies. Positively exhibit and adhere to BLUE standards to exceed our members' expectations both internally and externally. Positively exhibit and adhere to Brand standards and strive to create Life Simplified moments for both employees and members. Support the HR department with daily and monthly responsibilities. Work effectively and collaboratively with members of HR teams to support the needs of the business. Assist with monitoring and responding to HR hotline requests. Promote and adhere to rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines pertaining to duties and responsibilities of respective area(s). Support and promote teamwork among all areas of the credit union. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university, and will have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.8.
  • Possess similar or related experience.
  • Possess experience communicating professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess strong attention to detail.
  • Possess the ability to promptly and accurately multi-task and prioritize responsibilities to achieve objectives timely.
  • Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Possess experience effectively utilizing the Internet for research and working with computers with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess the ability to take initiative without being prompted.
