Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with strong expertise in employee relations, leave management, and performance management.
  • Deep understanding of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA and ADA.
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism and fairness.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting both office and manufacturing teams preferred.
  • Exposure to self-insured health plans, JP Farley, and UKG (UltiPro) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and associates on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
  • Coach managers through performance challenges, documentation standards, and corrective actions in alignment with employment law and company policy.
  • Lead or support investigations, disciplinary discussions, and terminations with professionalism, consistency, and respect.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution conversations that restore trust and strengthen team dynamics.
  • Guide leaders through performance reviews, development planning, and coaching conversations.
  • Partner in talent acquisition efforts by participating in interviews and advising on candidate selection and behavioral assessment.
  • Reinforce HR best practices and cultivate a culture grounded in trust, clarity, and shared values.
  • Administer FMLA, ADA accommodations, short- and long-term disability, and other leave programs with precision and care.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws.
  • Ensure documentation related to employee relations, leave, benefits, and investigations meets best practice and legal standards.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and associate recognition initiatives that foster belonging from day one.
  • Collaborate with HR peers on strategic initiatives and process improvements.
  • Leverage systems such as UKG and reporting tools like Power BI to analyze trends and inform leadership decisions.
  • Safeguard sensitive information with unwavering confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Take on additional HR initiatives as the organization evolves.
