About The Position
A thriving insurance brokerage with over 20 years in the business is growing its team and is looking to add an HR Generalist to the Human Resources team! This agency is devoted to ensuring its employees are cared for and rewarded for their hard work and dedication with fun company events and bonus opportunities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proficient with MS Office
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Knowledge of FMLA, PDL, ADA, Workers Compensation, etc.
- Must reside in the Southern California area

- HR Designations preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining correct payroll and timesheet information
- Updating employee handbook according to company policies and employment laws
- Oversee employee new hire orientation, onboarding, and termination process
- Abide by legal regulations/requirements for Human Resources records
- Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to determine hiring needs
- Conduct employee benefits open enrollment, safety training, anti-harassment training, etc.
