About The Position

The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for all employee/employment related issues for including, but not limited to, recruitment, worker’s compensation, employee relations, and time and attendance.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a closely related field is required.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Human Resources within an automotive/production environment is required.
  • Prior knowledge of Microsoft office along with excellent communication and written skills is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard the employees needed to meet staffing needs. This requires an active part in staff meetings excellent communication with the Managers for each department.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll, and act as a backup for the entire company when needed.
  • Monitor all leave of absences for employee including STD, Workmen’s Compensation, and FMLA.
  • Assist with benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Maintain all employee files. Ensure all training documents are correct and updated for each employee.
  • Assist the HR Director with other Corporate functions, such as, performance reviews, benefit enrollment, updating and creating policies and procedures.
  • Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
  • Other duties as assigned.
