Requirements

A degree and/or experience in human resources
Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain positive relationships
Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Sense of urgency and efficiency in your work
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong initiative to investigate and solve problems
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

Work across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, affirmative action and employment law compliance, safety, benefits management, and payroll
Perform payroll record maintenance and bi-weekly payroll processing
Prepare and distribute payroll reports for the accounting team and management
Maintain employee and applicant documentation, including employee personnel files
Lead employee benefit processes by reviewing benefit information with employees, processing benefit enrollments/changes, and coordinating open enrollment
Ensure employee benefit vouchers are reconciled with payroll and coded correctly by department
