About The Position

The HR Generalist is vital in supporting our employees and ensuring seamless HR operations at South Sound Behavioral Hospital. We seek an energetic, creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is passionate about employee engagement and providing exceptional HR support. This position reports directly to the HR Director and offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Paycom experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings and hiring process management.
• Conduct employee onboarding & offboarding, including background checks, benefits enrollment, and related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
• Support leadership with employee relations matters and compliance initiatives.
• Assist with organizing employee engagement activities and training sessions.
