About The Position

In the vital role of a Human Resources Generalist at NARA NW, you will be instrumental in molding both the workforce and the overarching culture of our organization. This role is richly layered and requires someone who is not only a strategic thinker but also possesses an in-depth understanding of all facets of human resources. Your skill set should include robust leadership capabilities coupled with a talent for effective and clear communication. As a central figure in our HR department, you will be tasked with spearheading various HR initiatives, each carefully designed to align with the broader goals of our organization. Your contributions will be particularly crucial given the dynamic and rapidly changing landscape of the healthcare industry.

Requirements

  • Either Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive human resources experience in human resources, including employee relations, benefits administration, and HR employee investigations.
  • Advanced understanding of HR best practices and employment law, (e.g. FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, OFLA, PLO).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, neutrality, and objectivity.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in human resources management, related field, or advanced knowledge in a related field.
  • SHRM Certification, SPHR - CP
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
