Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist. This position will work closely with the HR Manager, leadership team and staff. Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of Human Resources Management experience preferably in behavioral health or healthcare.
  • Must be proficient in HR HRIS, and knowledgeable of Human resources laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily operation for the Facility’s Human Resources Department.
  • Establishes and maintains personnel, medical and education files, advertise openings, process applications, monitor the hiring process, conduct exit interviews, and respond to reference requests.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper onboarding of all new hires. This includes background check, state clearance checks, new hire documents and setting up their employee information in the Company’s HRIS system.
  • Enters employee information changes or personnel action changes into the HRIS system and submits information to payroll.
  • Prepare new hires for orientation and ensure all required documents are properly completed.
  • Ensure proper administration of the Company’s Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for distributing/communicating needed information and assures day-to-day compliance with policy as relates to Human Resource activity.
  • Assist with employee activities and assist with any Human Resources-related need.
  • Ensure all staff’s education and employee files are properly maintained and adhered to regulations and accreditation guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality as related to Human Resources.
  • Takes an active part in local, state, and national health committees and functions.
  • Assists HR Manager as needed. Also assists in the absence of the HR Manager too.
  • Assists staff when requesting leave of absence or need for accommodation for American Disability Act or Pregnancy Accommodations.
  • Ensure proper administering workers compensation for staff.
  • Promotes good community relations through involvement in community affairs and serving on related boards and committees.
  • Receives complaints and compliments.
  • Assists with recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, placement, and orientation of all new employees.
  • Ensures all documents related to Human Resources are regularly filed.
  • Assists in ensuring employee files are maintained in accordance with licensure, regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Assists staff in concerns and grievances.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.
  • Upholds the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, including strict adherence to confidentiality in handling all employee and organization information.
