From highways and bridges to large-scale land developments, our success is built on strong teams - and we're looking for a driven Human Resources Generalist to help us grow even stronger. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the unique challenges of construction workforce management. You'll play a key role in sourcing, screening, and securing the best talent for both site-based and office-based roles.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in recruitment, ideally within construction, engineering, or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction roles and workforce structures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with recruitment software (e.g., Indeed, Applicant Pro, or similar).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with project managers and leadership to identify hiring needs.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies across multiple channels.
- Source skilled professionals - including engineers, supervisors, operators, and tradespeople.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background verifications.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for upcoming projects.
- Attend recruitment events at NAU, ASU, High Schools, and other events.
- Performance and training opportunities to advance our current staff.
