About The Position

Job Purpose: Denova Collaborative Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support core HR functions and enhance the overall employee experience. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, accurate HRIS updates, and compliant leave administration. Under the guidance of the HR Manager, the Generalist serves as a key liaison between employees and the HR department, fostering a supportive and efficient workplace culture . What You Will Do: Act as the primary point of contact for new hires; facilitate onboarding and conduct New Hire Orientation (NEO). Coordinate background checks and drug screenings with external vendors. Partner with internal departments to ensure new employees are set up for success. Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, including status changes, terminations, and data audits. Process and track employment-related documentation and ensure compliance with document retention policies. Respond to employee inquiries and support requests submitted via the HR inbox. Complete employment verifications and assist with other administrative tasks as needed. Monitor and administer leave requests under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ensuring timely communication and compliance. Regularly review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to HR processes. Promote and model professional ethics, confidentiality, and inclusive practices. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned .

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in HR or administrative roles.
  • Hands-on experience with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems required.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with common HRIS platforms and web-based tools.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (printer, scanner, phone, etc.)
