About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting multiple HR related functions such as new hire orientation, exit interviews, benefits, reporting, audits, and special projects as assigned. This role will also assume the responsibility of organizing various HR related events and ensuring our rewards and recognition programs are delivered in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree required, BS/BA Degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of HR related experience or 3 years of strong administrative experience
  • Excellent computer skills: MS Office Suite with high level of proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently without being micromanaged
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Must have excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Must display a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and emotional maturity
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or HRIS systems a plus
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent internal customer service for employee requests, questions and concerns. Function as liaison between employees and management while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Assist with recruiting function, i.e. posting jobs, offer letters, categorizing resumes, etc.
  • Assist in the administration of health plans including enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Assist in maintaining data in the company’s HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Assist with correcting time and attendance errors, as well as timecard adjustments, in ADP before each payroll run.
  • Lead in carrying out HR led functions, i.e. birthday celebrations, holiday celebrations, award and recognition ceremonies, etc.
  • Process required documents through payroll to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
  • Respond to various documentation requests from current and terminated employees, as well as outside vendors, regarding employment.
  • Assist departmental audits pertaining to employee’s files, benefits, and ADP data when necessary.
  • Create new hire packets and assist with orientation when needed.
  • Reconcile and process all billing invoices in regards to the HR Department.
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as by the Human Resources Director.
