About The Position

The Human Resource Generalist will assist with the daily Human Resources functions including, but not limited to new hire orientation, benefits, recruiting, payroll, employee engagement and enforcing company policies and practices. This individual must be professional, proactive, and positive when interacting with employees and customers. Our goal is to exceed expectations and ensure our internal and external customers receive an exceptional experience at Invio Automation.

  • Recruiting experience required
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems (Paycor)
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organization Development or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of related HR experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the pre-employment onboarding process including the administration of background checks and drug screening to verify employment eligibility and communications with new hires and hiring managers.
  • Manages new hire orientation and benefits onboarding for all new hires across the organization.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training such as safety training, anti-harassment, etc.
  • Responsible for data entry and maintenance within all HRIS platforms.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors and escalates complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate leadership.
  • Performs routine tasks required to execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave management; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition, and employee engagement and cultural events; and training and development.
  • Assists with and may lead the coordination of company events and employee engagement activities.
  • Manages employee recognition program.
  • Assists with payroll administration.
  • Supports full-cycle recruiting efforts, partnering with hiring managers and other recruiting team members to fill open positions.
  • Is the lead for state training grant administration across all sites.
  • Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Maintains manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential.
  • May be called upon to assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required.
  • Must be able to travel to other Invio sites as required.
