Role Overview: The Human Resources Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to employee relations and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of proven experience in HR operations and a solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. This role requires a high level of discretion, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a human resources role.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientations and exit interviews.
  • Maintain employee records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries.
  • Address employee questions and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Provide guidance on employment law, company policies, and best practices to managers and employees.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in workplace investigations and help resolve employee relations issues.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics as needed.
  • Supports ad hoc HR projects.
  • Supports and/or plans for employee engagement events.
