About The Position

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist who will provide comprehensive HR support across multiple functional areas, including: Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Onboarding and Orientation Benefits Administration Employee Relations Compliance and Policy Management Training Coordination and Performance Management The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, with exposure to multiple HR functional areas; generalist experience strongly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or ability to obtain within two years).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Employee must be able to operate a vehicle for job duties, and keep a valid NC drivers license with insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, and employee records.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and ensure timely updates.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; assist with audits and policy reviews.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and training schedules.
  • Support leadership development and performance management processes.
  • Partner with departmental leaders on employee relations and progressive discipline.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation and reports.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee experience.
