About The Position

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team in New Hope, MN. The ideal candidates will be an independent and motivated self-starter who has excellent communication skills. The HR Generalist must be capable of balancing multiple priorities in a professional manner to help achieve corporate goals in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of HR experience required
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to manage confidential information, prioritize tasks, and adapt to change.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to travel to local hiring events, career fairs, other plants, etc. as needed
  • Demonstrates a passion for relationship building and connecting with others

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • HR certification (PHR/SHRM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for company personnel; assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns arise
  • Conducts employee onboarding/offboarding
  • Assists with benefit orientations and open enrollment, as needed
  • Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
  • Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations
  • Assist with the implementation of the performance management system [https://www.thebalancecareers.com/performance-management-process-checklist-1918852] that includes performance improvement plans [https://www.thebalancecareers.com/performance-development-planning-1916761] (PIPs) and employee development programs
  • Monitor the organization's culture so that it supports the attainment of the company's goals and promotes employee satisfaction [https://www.thebalancecareers.com/keys-to-employee-satisfaction-1918009]
  • Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Partner with leadership and provide administrative support as needed
  • Support recruitment efforts for various positions and participate in on-site interviews
