About The Position
A resource exists to ensure that Human Resources (HR) functions are effectively developed, implemented, followed, and evaluated.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or another business-related field is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years Human Resources related experience.
- Proficient in PC-based work environments, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A demonstrated ability to manage staff, projects, and priorities in a constantly changing environment.
- Understanding of Human Resources trends and best practices.
- An interpersonal style that builds significant relationships with staff, administration and DHQ staff.
Nice To Haves
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP Certification preferred.

- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist with meeting all legal and program requirements related to the Human Resources function, including documentation, record maintenance, and reporting requirements as defined by program/administration policies and directives of The Salvation Army.
