The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in employment law, recruitment, organizational development, employee engagement, and overall Human Resources functions.
  • Ability to interface with Human Resources staff and various levels of staff within the organization.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking (ATS) and HRIS systems.
  • Highly motivated to take ownership of challenging assignments as well as routine tasks.
  • Must be extremely proactive with all staff involved in the hiring process.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing individual, who thrives on making connections and creating relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience within the A/E industry or related professional services firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates, collaborating with departmental managers to identify required skills and competencies for open positions.
  • Conduct and verify background checks and employee eligibility.
  • Implement and manage new hire orientation programs to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Help administer HR programs such as benefits, leave management, training, and employee recognition programs.
  • Assist with responding to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Provide support during employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
  • Track and document compliance with required training, certifications, and assessments, including safety and anti-harassment programs.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to continuously improve processes and practices.
  • Assist with reviewing and refining HR policies and practices to support organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR reporting requirements.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required.
