We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist who is people-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and service-driven HR team. The Human Resources Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations across all bank locations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, recordkeeping, and compliance activities. This role is part of a small HR team and helps maintain a positive, professional, and community focused workplace.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of HR experience; regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in HR, business or related field preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage job postings, screening, interviews, and candidate communication.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for routine HR questions.
  • Process promotions, pay changes, transfers, and separations.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
  • Assist with internal audits, external examinations, and policy updates.
  • Support employee recognition, communications, and engagement activities.
