About The Position

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support core HR functions such as onboarding, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits administration, and engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and retention. This role plays a key part in supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday, including data migration, system testing, user training, and daily HRIS operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience
  • Workday HRIS experience required
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and employment practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and pre-employment processes
  • Assist with employee onboarding, engagement, and recognition programs
  • Track and coordinate employee leaves, accommodations, and workers’ compensation cases
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management matters
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports
  • Manage HRIS transactions, data integrity, and reporting
