About The Position

Position Summary: The CUBRC, Inc. Buffalo NY office has an immediate need for a Human Resources Generalist/Payroll Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the HR department and serve as a key resource for employees and management. This role is responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate is detail-orientated, approachable, and knowledgeable across multiple areas of human resources.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment initiatives, including job postings, offers, background checks and file review.
  • Serve as a mid-level point of contact for employee questions and concerns and advisor to functional managers
  • Support conflict resolution and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Assist with investigations and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Perform Exit Interviews
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data – including periodic audits of documentation and HRIS systems.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
  • Maintain the Human Resources SharePoint Page
  • Maintain the Paylocity Employee Portal
  • Administer the Open Enrollment process on an annual basis
  • Answer employee questions related to benefits and compensation
  • Payroll processing and 401k funding
  • Process garnishments in the payroll system
  • Review monthly benefits bills and coordinate with Human Resources Coordinator regarding any questions or outstanding issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Assist in developing, updating and enforcing HR policies and procedures
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Assist with performance review processes and documentation
  • Support training and professional development initiatives
  • Support the Human Resources Manager in education employees and enforcing company policies
  • Support the Human Resources Manager with any special (ad hoc) projects
  • Report to the Human Resources about all Human resources endeavors
