About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist II is a trusted HR consultant to assigned client members, providing end-to-end support across employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, and the employee lifecycle. This role partners directly with leaders, manages multiple client priorities and HR projects, and delivers high-quality solutions that support business goals and employee success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification required within the first year.
• 5+ years of HR experience or equivalent demonstrated capability.
• Experience managing multiple clients, projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues based on risk and complexity.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
• Advanced knowledge of federal and Colorado employment law and HR policy application.
• Ability to manage employee relations matters with discretion and attention to detail.
• Experience with HR technology platforms, including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, ATS, and project management tools.
• Strong organizational, process management, and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR consultant to client members, providing ongoing support across employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee development.
• Advise leaders on complex employee relations matters, including misconduct concerns, with a focus on documentation, consistency, and compliance.
• Partner with leadership to support the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, engagement, and offboarding.
• Educate leaders on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support strong people management and business outcomes.
• Lead and oversee larger client groups, complex employee relations matters, and multiple member priorities while supporting long-term planning.
• Partner with client members to define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple active projects.
• Manage several client accounts and projects simultaneously, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and at a high level of quality.
• Build and execute monthly and annual project plans, monitor progress, and adjust priorities as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively manage client expectations by identifying risks, addressing constraints, communicating changes, and implementing mitigation plans.
• Provide consistent project updates to client members, HRx team members, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Coordinate internal team resources across client workstreams to support timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Lead or support the development and implementation of HR solutions related to compensation, compliance, and other business needs.
• Evaluate outcomes through scorecards and performance metrics and recommend continuous improvements.
• Directly supervises or manages the work of at least one or more full-time employees (or equivalent) – HR Specialist. Provides input/recommendations on personnel actions, including hiring, discipline, overtime, and terminations, in accordance with policy and applicable law.
